This program is free and comes with many features that increase your device’s security and ensure that it runs smoothly.
In our tests, adaware was able to identify the majority of the malware we put at it. It had trouble getting rid of some malware, however. The program does include several useful extras like a privacy monitoring tool, an adaware registry scanner, file shredder, and advanced network monitoring. Adaware isn’t as much protection as the most popular antivirus software.
The last time adaware participated in the AV-Test lab tests, it was able to block only ninety five. 4% of 0-day threats and 97% of known risks. These aren’t terrible scores but they’re not far from the top security suites.
People who want adsware to perform better, should look at alternatives. We particularly recommend Kaspersky and Bitdefender as they are known for their reliable performance in real-world tests. Also, only Pro and Total plan users receive access to online technical and customer support, which can be a little disappointing for certain users.
